Can you schedule a paid consultation?
I offer one-on-one learning sessions where you can learn about maintaining your WordPress website, the basics of Adobe apps or how to manage your email marketing. You know, all the stuff your agency probably doesn’t want you to know how to do yourself.
It doesn’t have to be specific software either. Over the last ten years, I’ve used lots of different CMS, email marketing platforms and other cool stuff. I will sit down with you and help you learn whatever platform it is that is giving you a headache.
Here is a list of some of the most common learning sessions I’m asked to do:
- Facebook Pages
And other stuff I can teach you in an hour:
- Basics of cell phone photography
- Basics of product photography
- Basics of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator or Photoshop
- Freshbooks invoicing
And some consultant type stuff:
- creating a content calendar
- planning your marketing for the year
- how to use website and social media analytics
- best SEO practices (basics)
I’ll bet you can probably think of a few things I didn’t list here as well.
How does a Learning Session work?
You will schedule a date and time for your session.
I will contact you to confirm your requested date, and get some details.
I will invoice you. Your session fee will be due 48 hours before your session date. If the fee is not paid, I will contact you to reschedule your date.
One-on-one learning session fees are non-refundable. If you pay your fee and have to reschedule, I’m happy to do that.
What if we need more time?
Sometimes we get rolling and we find that we’re having such a good time that we need to extend your session. I try to allow padding for cases like this. If you choose to extend your session, you will then be billed in increments of 15 minutes and payment of the additional session time will be due before we wrap up. So, come prepared with a method of payment on the day of your learning session.
Do you teach groups?
I’ll teach your small group of 25 or less. These sessions typically last 2-3 hours. We’ll figure out what your needs are before you’re invoiced for any session time. Group sessions must be booked and paid for 30 days in advance. The process works much the same way as a one-on-one consult. Click here to get the ball rolling.
